Westgate Entertainment District in Glendale Expanding

There is some exciting news for the Glendale mixed-use center. This past week, Westgate Entertainment District has leased out roughly 20,000 square feet of space to three unique businesses that are going to open around December of this year. This is a remarkable step in helping to broaden the number of employees that can be brought into the workforce.

The first is Harvard Drug Group, a company that specializes in the manufacturing, distribution, and pharmaceutical sales. Originally, Harvard Drug group was established at Westgate with about 5,000 square feet for an office large enough for 25 of its brilliant employees. Since the company is going through an expansion, nearly tripling in size to their now powerhouse of 60 employees, they have signed a lease for a 13,000 square-feet of space to accommodate the influx of hard working men and women.

The second is a newcomer to Westgate, BBB Industries,  a top of the line, world-class manufacturer and distributor of vehicle parts, chemicals, accessories, and equipment for the North American market.  The privately held company, headquartered in Daphne, Alabama, will have a 2,500 square-foot office at Westgate and be a great boon to the automotive industry within the area.

Last but not least is Westmarc, a public-private partnership of “the 15 communities, the business community, and the education sector west of I-17.” Westmarc will be opening a 2500 square foot office in Westgate after having relocated from Peoria. Their main missions is to promote high quality of life within the West Valley and promoting economic development throughout.

According to Jeff Teetsel, development manager of Westgate, the release of 20,000 square feet of new office spaces is definitely helping to bring the community into the right direction and providing a stellar work environment for employees of all the businesses located in Westgate.
