Things To Do This Fall

Although summer has ended, the festivities have not for Arizonans. Every fall, a new realm of seasonal activities opens up. While pumpkin spice lattes and the coming of Halloween are appreciated, here are a few additional seasonal activities to enjoy in Arizona during the fall.

Haunted Houses: A variety of haunted houses can be enjoyed in Arizona this halloween season. In Phoenix, there will be the Haunted House and Hayride, but a short trip east will take you to the Sanctum of Horror in Mesa.

Octoberfest: If you’re looking to enjoy some craft beer this chilly season, there are a few Octoberfests taking place in and around Arizona. On October 14th, the Crown King Saloon will be having a chili cook-off in conjunction with a selection of craft beers.

Chiles & Chocolate & Day of the Dead: Tohono Chul, a botanical garden that features a unique garden bistro, will be hosting event which will include a fine selection chilis and chocolates, as well as a kids Day of the Dead themed face painting contest. The event will take place from 9am-4pm, on October 27th and 28th.

Pumpkin Patches: Rocker 7 Farm Patch is sure to be a draw throughout fall due to having an exciting array of pumpkins, as well as a couple corn mazes. Marana Pumpkin Patch and Farm Festival is also a great option, as it will feature corn mazes and an additional petting zoo.
