The Shop Beer Co. in Tempe Makes Its Anticipated Debut This Saturday

There’s a new brewery in town, and it’s already creating buzz ahead of its opening this Saturday, August 27th. The Shop Beer Co. will open for the first time at 10am this Saturday and is set to instantly become Tempe’s latest and most intriguing brewery.

The grand opening event kicks off at 10am, and will feature delicious food catered by the Fire & Foraged food truck serving brunch, lunch and dinner throughout the day. Visitors will also have the opportunity to take tours of the gorgeous brewery, including the outdoor beer garden and impressive 3,200-square-foot brewery. The day is sure to be one filled with local flavor, incredible brews and good friends.

But let’s not forget the most important part of any brewery—the brews. Well-known classics like 480 Session Ale will be available alongside unique releases like The Nines Hoppy Red and Sunset Daydream IPA. More new creations will be revealed in the coming days after the Shop Beer Co.’s grand opening.

The Shop Beer Co. might be a new name in Tempe, but it brings along a rich history and boasts a who’s-who of passionate beer experts behind the reigns. Chief Beer Officer David Arnce is the previous owner of Cartel Brewery, a character-rich favorite for Tempe locals. Arnce set out to find the perfect location for his newest venture, a place full of character and old-world beauty—and he seems to have found it. The inside of the brewery features original hardwood from the classic home that used to occupy the property, and the gorgeous outdoor beer garden serves as the connector between the brew house and adjacent tasting room.
