In the center of downtown Phoenix, LUSTRE Rooftop Bar plans to offer free Sutra Yoga throughout the summer. They are doing so through their union with Sutra Studios. The yoga classes have been a hit in the past, so both establishments are excited to bring them to the public again. LUSTRE is including the yoga classes as part of their “100 Days of Summer” festivities. Participants can expect for a class to occur from 7 to 8 p.m., each Wednesday, up until August 30th which will serve as the final date.

Rooftop Classes
The classes will take place on the top of the Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix. Along with this exotic, rooftop, pool-side location, there will be a DJ playing a mix of Reggae, Deep House, and Classics depending on the month. Participants are encouraged to get comfortable under a poolside cabana, before or after classes, where they can enjoy mixed drinks and a beautiful resort style view of Phoenix. Many menu items with a tropical, seasonal flair, can also be purchased while relaxing.

Sutra Yoga stresses the importance of physical, mental, and spiritual stimulation. For many practitioners however, it is simply a great workout. Yoga has been shown to demonstrate stress reduction, for those looking to escape the daily grind for a little summer relief.

Free Classes Open To The Public
The event is open to the public, and guests as well as first-timers who are new to  yoga, are encouraged to participate. Participants of any level of experience, are more than welcome to show up, as one can work individually at their own pace. There is no cost to join, but do take into account that space is limited within this popular rooftop location. Drinks can be purchased from the bar, before and after classes, and it is recommended that participants bring water with them, for the class itself.
