Steve Nicks Kicks Off Solo Tour in Phoenix

Stephanie Lynn “Stevie” Nicks is a woman who needs little introduction. The American singer and songwriter is known both for her extensive work with band Fleetwood Mac as well as a lasting solo career which have collectively produced over 40 “top-50” hits including “Dreams”, “Landslide”, “Stand Back”, and “Talk to Me” and the sale of over 140 million albums. With band Fleetwood Mac, the talented songstress received five Grammy award nominations and a further eight in her solo career.

With a lifetime of touring experience under her belt, Stevie Nicks and the Pretenders have recently announced the launch of a new tour this year starting October 26, 2016 at Talking Stick Resort Arena in downtown Phoenix.  Nicks will be joined by band the Pretenders. The “24 Karat Gold” tour, named for Nicks’ 2014 album of the same name, will cover 27 cities in the U.S. as well as stops in Toronto and Vancouver ending in Inglewood, California on December 18th. Having just come off a lengthy Fleetwood Mac reunion tour, “On With the Show”, Nicks thought it was a good time to promote her solo work in the form of a tour. The tour will support her most recent album, 24 Karat Gold: Songs From the Vault, her eighth solo studio album. The album mostly includes new versions of demos Nicks recorded between 1969 and 1987 though there are two songs from the ‘90s as well as one cover. The album reached number seven on the Billboard 200 and has sold over 100,000 copies in the U.S.
