Scottsdale Culinary Festival 2017 Gets Cooking

For the 39th anniversary of the Scottsdale Culinary Festival, the longest running culinary festival in the United States will be celebrating the Arizona food scene with over 30,000 guests, 40 local restaurants, 30 craft breweries, and 20 bands including a performance from country music star LeAnn Rimes. The outdoor festival starts off with a cocktail party on Friday, April 7 and ends with a grand finale dinner on Sunday, April 9.

Hosted at Scottsdale Civic Center over Saturday and Sunday, April 8-9, festival goers can gain access to the annual event with either Saturday or Sunday admission with or without access to the craft beer garden featuring 20 beer samples. For a more exclusive and luxurious experience there is the VIP experience for either weekend day. Ticket details can be seen and purchased at Purple Pass.

New to this year’s festival is the Local Lounge showcasing beers and wines made here in Arizona. Admission is free and food and beverages are purchased separately. Additionally, there will be a Teen Cook Off featuring six high school teams going head to head in a Chopped-style competition with the final round beginning on Sunday at 2 p.m.
