Phoenix’s beer lovers now have a new spot to grab a cold one.

An Arizona-owned company, SanTan Brewing Company, has opened a brewpub at 16th Street and Bethany Home Road. The company is based in Chandler, and its award-winning beers have been exciting beer lovers since its first location opened in 2007. This is SanTan’s second location in the Valley.

The new brewpub serves a variety of food as well as unique beer options. A few of the most popular brews available are: the Devil’s Ale, Mr. Pineapple, and Hopshick IPA.

Many residents are excited about the new location, and the former Z-Tejas building was crowded on Monday for the grand opening.

They love that SanTan’s beverages are local brews that can be bought at newbie stores, and the concept of having a place to hang out with great food and fantastic beer is exciting for those who live in the area.
