Restaurants Opening Soon in Metro Phoenix

Phoenix is known for its delicious cuisine and unique restaurants. Three new restaurants are set to open in June of 2017. 

Camp Social is scheduled to open on June 18th at 6107 North Seventh Street in Central Phoenix. This restaurant is being designed as a summer-camp and kitschy themed restaurant that will feature cabin themed decor such as canoes, tire swing seating and a game room full of ping pong tables and board games. The menu will offer all of the comfort foods associated with summer camp, such as fried pickle poutine and wood fired pizzas. Camp Social is currently accepting applications and plan to be open at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday through Saturday and will close at 11:00 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday and at 2:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

The Vig McDowell Mountain is set to open in North Scottsdale soon. This Frank Lloyd Wright inspired restaurant is 13,000 square feet that feature a huge outdoor patio with fire pit seating, games and activities for the whole family, and outdoor lockers for hikers in a setting that is just off the Sonoran Mountain Preserve. The hours will be from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 a.m., on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 a.m., and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.


The Monocle is a full-scale restaurant and bar located in the heart of downtown Phoenix. The vintage atmosphere is fully inspired by the 1900s historic house at 816 North Third Street, formerly the Roosevelt Tavern. The owners and the team are passionate about people, arts, food, and beer and strive to embody the spirit of the adventure, progress, and exploration that the restaurant and neighborhood are named after. Menu will be fresh expressive and invite all to come in for conversation, food, and beer.
