Phoenix Festival of the Arts

Featuring more than 125 art vendors, organizations, live music, art demonstrations and dance performances. Beer and wine purchased at the event can be consumed throughout the grounds and food vendors will be available. Admission is free.


Holiday Lights Tour

Shuttle buses will leave the parkng lot at 5:00pm, 7:30pm and 9:30am. Tickets are $30 per person and reservations are required in advance. Guests will be served wine, beverages and hors d’oeuvres. Seating is limited.


 
Gingerbread House Decorating Class

The pastry chef’s at Lon’s will host two classes to guide guests on their holiday journey of creating a unique and delicious gingerbread house. Snacks and beverages are included. Cost is $69++ per gingerbread house. 

Holiday at the Heard

Visitors will be introduced to traditional and contemporary Amerrican Indian music, dance and art through performances and artist demonstrations throughout the week. Attendees can enjoy fry bread and fry bread tacos or have lunch at the Courtyard Cafe that is open from 11am-3pm daily. Event is included in the price of general museum admission. Hours are 9:30am-5:00pm Tuesday throuh Satruday.

‘A Winnie-the-Pooh Christmas Tail’

This year the theatre celebrates the 22nd anniversary of this loved classic live on stae. Most performances are matinees. Tickets to all shows are $20 plus fees for general admission.

Frances Smith Cohen’s ‘Snow Queen’

The classic story by Hans Christian Andersen is set to the music by Sergei Prokofiev. Show time are Saturdays at 2:00pm and 7:00pm  and Sundays 2:00pm and 5:00pm. Tickets vary from $14.50 to $28.50.

Celebrate the holiday season with the award-winning group as they perform traditional and popular holiday favorites. Tickets are $38 adults, $33 Seniors, $33 Active Duty Military, and $18 Students with ID.

Holiday Activitiies At Christown
Christown Spectrum Mall will host “Christown Cringle’s Workshop” every weekend from 12:00-4:00pm through December 17th. This is a free family event that includes activities such as Santa’s elves working on projects, story time and more. There will also be an ornament decorating station. Other activities include Santa’s Mailbox, a big-screen featuring holiday classic movies, a face painter and more. Harkins Movie Theater gift cards valued at $5 will be given away to the first 150 customers to visit each Saturday morning workshop.

Holiday Puppet Show 
Children are invited to attend “Deer Santa” a family friendly show December 9th and December 16th at 2:00pm at the Playhouse on the Park at Central Arts Plaza, 1850 N. Central Avenue. The show runs 40 minutes. Afterwards, there is a Make and Take workshop children can make their own puppet to take home. The workshop is $4 and can be purchased the day of the performance. Show tickets are $10 general admission and are available through the Phoenix Theatre Box Office, 100 E. McDowell Road. The box office is open 1 hour prior to the performance.
