Phoenix Botanical Store Relocates To Uptown

The French Bee, a well-known botanical store in Phoenix, recently relocated uptown. Previously, they were located in the Biltmore area, but they are now in a new store off 7th Street. April Pak, the store’s manager, reflected on how the new location is in an exciting part of Phoenix, known particularly for being a culinary region of the city.

New Location Perfect For Growing Botanical Business

The French Bee has gone from what was initially a botanical store, to an upholstery and general home goods store. Many of these upholsteries are custom-made, and the store offers additional on location linen design programs.

The stores aesthetic reflects the sensibilities of owner Michael Hansen, who is known for having an eye for elegant home decor. This artistic eye has been developed through many years of dedication to his craft. Hansen has successfully brought his business from his table at home, to one of the most popular locations in Phoenix. Early on, he slowly rose to prominence in Phoenix’s Biltmore area, and his floral arrangements quickly became the talk of the town both in and out of farmers markets. His first store, which was only 600 ft, also reflects the theme of humble beginnings which circulates throughout his story. He currently uses a 12,000 square foot studio to assemble his floral works of art.
