Nonprofit Working To Make Sure You Are Ready To Vote On Election Day

With midterm elections only a few months away, one nonprofit is reaching out and making sure residents are properly registered to vote.

The Center for Voter Information, a nonpartisan activist group committed to keeping voters informed on key political issues, has been mailing voter registration forms to residents throughout the county.

County officials insist the letters are not a scam.

The organization’s aim, according to Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes, is to make sure citizens have accurate and up-to-date information on their voting forms.

If citizens are concerned that the information associated with their voting  forms is out-of-date  or inaccurate, they are encouraged to consult the Recorder’s office.

Voting is an integral part of the American political process, therefore it is incumbent on every eligible citizen to make sure they can properly cast their vote when important elections happen.
