New Vintage Clothing Store Opens in North Central Phoenix

There’s a new place to buy vintage clothes in Phoenix. Frockify LLC is a vintage clothing reseller that was started by Arizona State University graduate Dakota Jeane Hilton. On March 25th, the store held the grand opening to its first retail location.

Frockify is located at 4206 N. 7th Ave. which is north of Indian School in the heart of the Melrose District. The store is featuring a wide variety of vintage clothes from the 20th Century ranging from the early 1900s to the 1990s. Frockify is also offering an assortment of mid-century furniture and housewares.

Hilton stated about the store, “We’re so excited to join the vintage community in Phoenix and we’re especially honored to be able to be a part of the growing Melrose District, a place that I’ve always loved to shop.”

For almost two years, Hilton grew her business by selling items at flea markets across the country. It was after this time; Hilton chose it was the right time to open her first retail store. Hilton likes to call this store as “Frock and Mortar.”

She continues about the store, “Frockify has always operated with the vision of preserving the history of everything we sell. We care passionately about the story behind every piece we buy because it is important for us to pass down that story to our customers.”

Frockify will be open on Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information about the store, call 480-202-8941 or send an e-mail to [email protected].
