New Times’ Beer Olympics

If you’re an avid fan of beer-games competitions, then you may be excited to hear that the New Times’ Beer Olympics is scheduled to make a return to Tempe on Friday, August 18, 2017. This year will mark the event’s 4th anniversary. According to New Times, there will be over 15 games to participate in including:

Cornhole — a game of bean-bag tossing skills.

Giant Jenga — the game you know and love, giant-sized with a timed, competitive twist.


Pong — your objective: shoot the pong ball into all 6 cups before the other team does…or time runs out!

Bowling — challenge another player to a quick game of bowling. Highest score after two shots wins.

Speed Quarters — compete against 3 others in a speed game of bouncing quarters into cups.

Flip Cup Relay — 4-on-4 relay, who can land their cups the fastest?

Mega Pong — who can sink 4 balls in the giant barrels first?

Giant Pong — who can sink 4 balls in the giant cups first?

Putt-Putt — land a hole-in-one to win.

Croquet — hit your balls through the course (in the right order) to win the game.

Hula Hoop Contest — compete against 3 others in a battle of the hips.

In addition to a variety of classic beer games, the event will also feature other live-entertainment options. General Admission tickets for this 21 and over festival can be purchased online and include entry into the event at 8pm, 2 drink tickets good for our drink partner’s products, access to tons of awesome games and entertainment plus an entry to win our Participation Award.
