New Gwynnie Bee Facility To Create Phoenix Jobs

The popularity of clothing rental startups has skyrocketed in recent years, and one of the main competitors in the business is coming to Phoenix.

Gwynnie Bee, a clothing rental service that advertises itself as size-inclusive, is opening a distribution service in the Greater Phoenix area. The company describes its service as allowing women to have an “unlimited wardrobe” that will help them rediscover their love of clothing and fashion. The facility will be 100,000 square-feet and highly automated, or Al-driven. It’ll create around 150 jobs for the area over the next year and a half. The distribution facility will open on August 20th, and it’ll provide orders to 11 states within a 24 hour window. The new warehouse will join Gwynnie Bee’s already established facility in Columbus, Ohio.

The President & CEO of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, Chris Camacho, has helped the company with the expansion in Phoenix. This isn’t the only business that has been assisted by Camacho while he’s worked with GPEC. More than 322 companies, 55,617 jobs, and $5.6 billion have come to Phoenix during his time at GPEC.
