Nationwide Expansion Planned for Postino’s

The owners of Postino, a Phoenix-based wine cafe owned by Upward Projects, recently announced their plans to expand the restaurant beyond the borders of Arizona. According to Upward’s website, “The Valley’s original wine cafe, Postino began in 2001 with a vision and some homegrown determination. After renovating the historic Arcadia Post Office Building, the partners built a foundation with unique, approachable wines; simple, delicious food prepared with local ingredients; and a warm, edgy culture that brings everyone together. Today, Postino continues this tradition with seven unique locations, each set in historically relevant buildings integral to the neighborhoods that surround them.”

Postino has six current locations including: 

  • Central (Phoenix)
  • ARCADIA (Phoenix)
  • EAST (Gilbert)
  • ANNEX (Tempe)
  • Lohi (Denver)
  • Kierland (Scottsdale)
  • Highland (Scottsdale)

The cafe features an extensive selection of wine; along with beer, food and brunch menus highlighted by bruschetta, cheese plates, paninis, craft beers soups and salads. Regarding the recent announcement, Upward’s CEO Lauren Bailey said, “Our company is stacked with some of the most talented, innovative and genuine individuals. Upwork Projects also owns and operates Windsor/Churn, Federal Pizza and Joyride Taco House. Their plans include opening a new Postino in Houston, TX in the near future.
