Michael Buble Set to Play Phoenix in March

Michael Bublé is scheduled to play the Valley this upcoming spring. More specifically, The Grammy Award-Winner will be taking center stage at the Talking Stick Resort Arena on Friday, March 29. Tickets are now on sale.

This tour comes as quite a surprise. Just weeks ago, the world-famous singer expressed a desire to throw in the towel altogether. In an interview with Daily Mail’s Weekend Magazine on October 13th, the jazz singer stated, “I’ve made the perfect record, and now I can leave at the very top.”

Of course, with a son battling cancer, even a world tour can seem like minutia. So, it’s unlikely anyone would condemn the singer’s decision.

However, weeks after rumors of his retirement reached the mainstream, Bublé announced his sixth world tour to promote the release of his tenth album, Love.

Regarding his comeback, he goes on to say:

“One, I felt a debt of gratitude, deeper than I can explain, to the millions of people all over the world who prayed for us and showed us compassion. That gave me faith in humanity.”

“Two, because I love music and feel I can continue the legacy of my idols. And three, because if the world was ending – not just my own personal hell but watching the political turmoil in America and watching Europe break up – there’s never a better time for music.”

Kicking off the American portion of his upcoming tour at Amalie Arena in Tampa on February 13th, Bublé will be on the road until August 3rd of 2019.

After the 43-year old singer’s son, Noah, was diagnosed with cancer in 2016, the singer stopped performing and has been tending to his boy. Nevertheless, Bublé’s album hits shelves on November 16th. Featuring jazz classics like When I Fall in Love by Edward Heyman & Victor Young.

Additionally, Bublé will be inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame on the same day as the album release. Not to mention, the Canadian crooner performed on The Graham Norton show this past Friday on BBC America.
