Mega Bus Begins $1 Fare from Phoenix to Las Vegas

Are you ready for the lights and glamor of Las Vegas?  Beginning May 25, Mega Bus service begins between Phoenix and Las Vegas.  Advertised fares begin as low as $1, however there is a $2.50 service fee for every ticket purchased.  Ticket prices do increase as busses fill up, so book your ticket early.  There will be one bus in the morning and another in the evening traveling between the two cities.  However, if you want to spend the night – or shop til you drop – tickets include 1 carry-on and 1 piece of luggage.

Want to know where to find the bus?  The pick-up and drop-off location for Phoenix is 351 N. Central Avenue.  There is also a stop at the Glendale Park and Ride near 59th and W. Myrtle.  Beginning June 12, a stop in Tempe will be added to the route.  You can expect to be on the bus for about 5 ½ hours.

For the price, you may be expecting a glorified school bus.  Be prepared to be pleasantly surprised!  The Mega Bus offers many amenities.

These include:

  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Free movies when you download the Megabus RIDE app
  • Personal power outlets
  • Reclining seats
  • Reserved seating (with advance ticket purchases)
  • Tables at the seats

There is no need to fight traffic or circle endlessly looking for a parking space on your next trip to Sin City.  Sit back, relax, and dream about winning big!
