Lou Malnati’s to Open 2nd AZ Location in Arcadia

Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria will be opening its second location to the delight of many Arizona residents in Arcadia. It will open sometime in September, sharing a building with Kitchen 56 at the corner of 56th Street and Indian School. The exact address of the establishment will be 3433 North 56th Street.

The restaurant made its Arizona debut in Uptown Plaza last May and very quickly become a local favorite. They sell legendary Chicago deep dish pizzas and are planning to open as many as 10 more Valley locations, according to plans announced by the company.

The new location will offer delivery and carryout but no in-restaurant dining, similar to the pizza chain Domino’s. There is also the option to order catering services from the eatery.

Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria’s menu prides itself on its excellent food. The company boasts that they bring the true taste of Chicago pizza to Arizona using high-quality ingredients. They use made-from-scratch dough, Wisconsin mozzarella cheese, and vine-ripened tomatoes.

Their menu features deep dish and thin crust pizzas as its expected cornerstone. Fan favorites include “The Lou,” a pizza with spinach mix, mushrooms, and sliced roma tomatoes on garlic “Buttercrust” and “The Malnati Chicago Classic” topped with sausage. Appetizers include options like stuffed spinach bread, calamari fritti, and chicken wings, among other delicious sounding options. Other typical pizza restaurant offerings are also available like soups, salads, pastas, sandwiches. However, the restaurant does not serve alcohol like you might expect from a pizza joint.

Dessert is also an option at Lou Malnati’s. A more creative treat is the Chocolate Chip Pizza, a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie prepared in a deep dish pan and topped with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream.
