Kiss Farewell Tour Will Visit Gila River Arena In 2019

For one final time, the Valley will host Kiss during the legendary band’s End of The Road World Tour in 2019.

Bassist Gene Simmons revealed in June of this year that a three-year farewell tour was in the works for the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers. The tour will bring their career to a close after spanning over four decades.

For Kiss fans in the Valley, the wait won’t be long as the group will perform in Glendale at Gila River Arena on Feb. 13.

The first leg of the tour was announced on Monday, which will consist of over 40 shows and begins in Vancouver on Jan. 31. The Glendale performance will be just the tour’s ninth show.

On Tuesday, VIP packages will be available for purchase and Kiss Army fan club members will have their chance at tickets on Wednesday. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday.

Additional information is at available the band’s website.

Known for their painted faces, the band has guaranteed their “biggest show yet” during their final tour.

The Kiss website said the tour “will be the ultimate celebration for those who’ve seen us and a last chance for those who haven’t.”

Despite having previously dubbed a 2000-01 tour as their final one, they returned to touring in 2003.

The upcoming tour will have guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer fill the shoes of Ace Frehley and Peter Criss.
