Helios Education Foundation Arriving In Phoenix

The Helios Foundation, a philanthropic organization dedicated to assisting post-secondary education students in the Florida and Arizona regions, will be moving to the Arizona area. The organization’s new residence will be in the Phoenix area specifically, in a 65,000 square foot building, which will be located near Camelback and 32nd Street.

The organization’s vice president, Vince Roig, alluded to how this move will ultimately create more opportunities, and assist the organization in fulfilling a more widely effective mission.

The organization believes strongly in the philosophy that obtaining higher education is a right that all students should be offered. Due to the fact that embarking upon this venture is out of reach for many potentially willing students, The Helios Foundation seeks to help to bridge the gap. This, they hope, will instill lasting changes in the Arizona community. Doug Ducey, Arizona Gov., believes that these philanthropic efforts will only benefit “public-private relationships”.

The philanthropic community in Arizona has been making incredible changes for quite a while now, and the inclusion of The Helios Foundation only adds to that trend. Much of Arizona’s burgeoning early education progress owes to this philanthropic work that has largely taken the state by hold.

Vince Roig has stated that the pathway to continued, valuable philanthropic efforts, is lined with hard work on a daily basis. Rather than putting money towards trendy philanthropic ideas, he and his team intend to do what needs to be done in a practical manner for the benefit and sake of Arizonans.

Initially, Southwest Student Services conceptualized The Helios Foundation. Currently, The Helios Foundation partners with many of Phoenix’s local schools, in an effort to help students excel. These efforts are divided into multiple factions which include: elementary school success, career counseling, and the completion of higher education courses.
