Hawaiian Airlines Brings IT Center To Phoenix In 2019

Next year, a Hawaiian Airlines information technology center will be opened in Phoenix.

In a Thursday news release, the airline announced that Honolulu will remain as the home for its primary IT functions, but the Phoenix center will assist by providing additional support.

Before a permanent building is selected for the technology center’s location, Hawaiian Airlines will utilize a temporary office space in the meantime. The current plan is to eventually build a staff that exceeds 100 employees.

In order to employ and benefit from local talent, the airline will partner with local schools to recruit students for internships and potential jobs.

The largest airlines in the state, Hawaiian Airlines began operations in 1929.
