Game of Thrones Bringing Live Concert Experience to Phoenix

Fans of the American fantasy drama television series Game of Thrones will soon have the opportunity to experience music from the acclaimed sound track live in concert. The Game of Thrones Live Concert Experience is scheduled to make a stop in Phoenix on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Gila River Arena, and will feature world-renowned composer Ramin Djawadi. The forthcoming show will mark the composer’s second visit to Phoenix after appearing at the Talking Stick Resort Arena this past March.

When asked about the challenges of performing in a live setting, Djawadi said: “Of course, there are things on the soundtracks that I can do in the studio that I can’t do in a live setting. I actually re-created new arrangements for the tour that are not on the soundtrack. I hope people will be excited to hear some new pieces. It’s the same material that fans are familiar with, but in a new form.”

Based upon George R.R. Martin’s best-selling book series “A Song of Ice and Fire,” the Game of Thrones television series recently concluded its seventh season on HBO. If you can’t make it to the Phoenix show, then the North American Tour Schedule also plans to visit several other major US cities including Seattle, Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, Tampa, Boston, New York, St. Louis, Chicago and Detroit to name a few.

A press release regarding the upcoming concerts indicated that the tour will continue to use innovative music tour production and video technology that will re-create the various realms found throughout Westeros and Essos as well as showcase footage from the show, in addition to new imagery created exclusively for the upcoming 45 tour dates. Tickets are currently being sold via Ticketmaster, with the price of admission ranging from $34.75 to $94.75.
