Easter Events in Arizona

Spring has sprung and Easter is just around the corner. Easter events are scheduled throughout our entire great state. Check out the list of events that are taking place.

 

CLARKDALE


Easter Bunny Express 
April 1
This is the happiest, hoppiest celebration at the Verde Canyon Railroad. The event features face painting, photo opportunities and treats from the Easter Bunny.


LITCHFIELD PARK

Easter Egg Stravaganza 
March 31.
The Wigwam welcomes you to celebrate Easter on the front lawn with Easter egg roll races, Easter egg hunt train ride and live entertainment. The event is free. Optional breakfast buffet with the Easter Bunny.


MESA

Chocolate Bunny 5K & Kids Fun Run 
March 31
This family friendly 5K run/walk helps the local veteran’s support group Team RWB. The 9:30 a.m. kids run is a 1-mile course; each child receives a medal.

Downtown Mesa Tiny Tots Easter Egg Hunt 
March 29
Easter egg hunt for ages 8 and younger who can collect one egg at each participating business on Main Street. The event also features face painting and photos with the Easter Bunny. 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event is free. Main Street between Center Street and Country Club. downtownmesa.com

Easter Egg-Sperience 
March 31
Celebrate spring at Vertuccio Farms. Enjoy all the favorite farm play structures, an egg hunt, furry farm animals and photos with the Easter Bunny. Breakfast favorites available from the farm griddle.

Easter Sunday Musical Lunch
April 1
Spend Easter at Organ Stop Pizza, which hosts this annual event from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. with an affordable all-you-can-eat pizza buffet and organ music.

 

PEORIA

Dolly Sanchez Easter Egg Hunt 
March 31
The 42nd annual community event features candy hunts for eight age groups (ages 1-10) and one for individuals with disabilities. The event is free. Highlights include pony rides, crafts, inflatables and carnival games and rides.


PHOENIX

Easter Egg Hunt 
March 31 and April 1
Enchanted Island Amusement Park hosts two days of egg hunts. Bring your own basket and arrive early. The Easter Bunny will be available for photos.

Jack Rabbit and The Easter Basket 
March 7- April 1 
Lost Canyon, Arizona is too far away for the Easter Bunny, so he gets his cousin, Jack Rabbit to help deliver Sally Johnson’s Easter basket.

Kiwanis Easter Parade and Spring Fling 
March 31
The 42nd annual parade that runs between Warner and Elliot Roads on 48th Street in Ahwatukee is a great community Spring event. Kiwanis Spring Fling follows with live entertainment, carnival rides, Easter egg hunt and photo opportunities at Ahwatukee Community Center Park.


PRESCOTT

Easter Eggstravaganza 
April 1)
Heritage Park Zoological Sanctuary hosts its annual Easter egg hunt with special Easter treats for the animals, a scavenger hunt, concessions, raffles and more.


QUEEN CREEK

Easter Egg-Citement 
March 31
The Easter Bunny makes his annual hop into Schnepf Farms. Kids can hunt for eggs and enjoy swings, jumping pillows, carousel rides and the petting zoo.


TEMPE

Bunny Boat Float 
April 1
Attend the 1 p.m. Easter Sunday performance of Childsplay’s “Maddi’s Fridge,” and your family can create an Easter-themed sailboat to release into the infinity pool at Tempe Center for the Arts.

Easter Egg Hunt 
March 31
The Kiwanis Club of Tempe, Tempe High School Key Club and ASU’s Circle K International, hosts this event with over 8,000 plastic prize-filled Easter eggs. The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures. Plus, face painting, games and arts and crafts. Bring your own basket.


TUCSON

Eggstravaganza 
March 31
Visit the International Wildlife Museum for crafts, games with prizes and a candy hunt. Be sure to bring your camera; the Easter Bunny will hop by for photos.
