Def Leppard to Play Phoenix September 20

International sensation Def Leppard will play at Phoenix, Arizona’s Ak-Chin Pavilion at 7pm September 20, 2016 as part of their summer 2016 tour. The “Summer 2016” tour started in Orland, Florida May 1 of this year and will end October 10 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa after performing across the United States and some dates in Canada. The English rock band, formed in 1977, will perform with American rock bands REO Speedwagon and Tesla whom the band has toured with in the past.

One of the world’s best-selling music artists, Def Leppard have sold more than 100 million records worldwide. They have 11 studio albums with hits like “Bringin’ On the Heartbreak”, “Photograph”, and “Pour Some Sugar on Me”. Their most recent album, 2015’s self-titled Def Leppard included the hit “Let’s Go”. Perofrming will be Joe Elliott (lead vocals), Rick Savage (bassist, backing vocals), Rick Allen (drums, backing vocals), Phil Collen (guitar, backing vocals), and Vivian Campbell (guitar, backing vocals), the band’s lineup since 1992.

Def Leppard have received several accolades over the course of their almost 40-year career including being one of only five rock bands with two original studio albums selling over 10 million copies in the United States; and receiving several nominations and awards from the American Music Awards and MTV Video Music Awards. The band is poised to tour with band Poison in 2017.
