Concerts Coming to Phoenix

Music is alive in Phoenix and to keep you in the know, we threw together a list of some of the biggest and best acts coming that you won’t want to miss.

Up first on shows you’ll be kicking yourself if you miss is #FOLLOWME. On 7/29 at the Comerica Theatre, WilldaBeast, Kenneth San Jose, and Janelle Ginestra come together to celebrate the history of hip-hop dance. Each headliner will highlight their own personal style and skills, mixing in both their greatest hits along with some new flavors. A highly interactive show, both before and after, fans will be able to interact digitally and physically with the headliners with the chance to win the opportunity to be featured in #FOLLOWME’S finale.

Bryson Tiller, who has been quickly making a name for himself as the next R&B sensation, will be hitting Rawhide Event Center on Aug. 11th. In support of his newest release “True to Self” has been making waves in the music world and is an album you can’t deny. On the day of its release “True to Self” was streamed more than 25 million times. Need we say more?!

We hope you’ve been saving your money up because September is going to be rough on your wallet. Death Cab for Cutie, Paramore, and Fleet Foxes are all rolling in.

On 9/8, you can catch Death Cab at Phoenix’s newest live performance venue, The Van Buren. Fleet Foxes will bring music from their new album to you on Sept. 24th at Comerica Theatre. And before you can even catch your breath, Paramore will be taking the same stage just 3 days later (9/27) in support of their newest gem “After Laughter”.

You’ll have almost a month to recover before Luke Bryan brings his newest release “Huntin’ and Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day” to Ak-Chin Pavillion on Oct. 26th.

Just three days later, Bob Segar and The Silver Bullet Band are bringing their Runaway Train tour to the Talking Stick Resort Arena. Oct. 29th could be one of the last times to catch the legend after he recently released a video with the tag line “one last time.”

Tedeschi Trucks Band is bringing not one, but two shows to Phoenix on Nov. 14th and 15th. Orpheum Theatre will be the home for both shows and to say that the show will be full of hits is an understatement. They recently released “Live from the Fox Oakland”, which highlights TTB’s best originals with incredible covers ranging from Leonard Cohen to Miles Davis.

Our last concert is still a while away, but you should probably start preparing yourself for it now. Katy Perry will be rolling through Phoenix in support of “Witness”. January 19th at Gila River Arena, Perry will be wearing her heart on her sleeve as “Witness” finds her reflecting on not only her life and the changes she has gone through, but also on the world around her. Perry’s last tour was a sold-out success, so make sure to get your tickets early!
