Celebrating Our Veterans – Phoenix Veterans Day Parade

On Saturday, November 11th, Phoenix will celebrate Arizona’s Veterans at the Phoenix Veterans Day Parade. This year marks the parade’s 21st year of honoring our valley’s Veterans. The parade is expected to have 2,500 participants with floats, bands, marching units and more. The parade will feature eight Veteran Grand Marshalls, which will represent each era of military service from World War II to present day. 

The parade will begin at 11:00am and will head south on Central Avenue from Montebello Drive to Camelback Road; turn east on Camelback Road to 7th Street; turn south on 7th Street and end at Indian School Road. 45,000 spectators are expected along the parade route.

Valley motorists and those planning to attend the parade should be aware of parade road closures. The following street closures and restrictions will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. until 1 to 2 p.m.



Road Closures – 

7:30AM

  • Close Central Ave, from Bethany Home Road to Missouri
  • Close Montebello, from Central to 2nd Street


10:00AM

  • Close Central Ave. between Missouri and Camelback Road
  • Close Camelback between Central and 7th Street
  • Close 7th Street between Camelback and Indian School Roads
  • Close Indian School Road, 3rd Street to 9th Street
  • Close 7th Street, Osborn to Indian School Road


10:45AM

  • Close Missouri Avenue East Bound and West Bound
