Arizona Lottery Creates New, High-Odd Games

Move over ordinary scratch offs, there is a new game in town. Actually, four games and a new category has been added by the Arizona Lottery. These games will combine scratcher and jackpot-type games to give players a fresh experience.

The new games were launched on February 16th and are called Fast Play. A spokesman for the Arizona Lottery, David Nunn, has stated there are $1, $2 and $5 tickets. There are increased odds of winning, and the combined prize pool is over $12 million. The top prize is almost $50,000.

Nunn has stated there was a winner in Tucson on February 12th who won $2,000 on one of the new games, Jackpot Party Progressive. Progressive prizes are based on the amount of ticket sales and players. Prizes can be as much as $5,000 Nunn believes Fast Play sales will be around $10 to $12 million by next year, which is six years of the operating budget of Arizona’s Court Appointed Special Advocates. The CASA advocacy program gives everyday people the ability to speak up for abused and neglected children.

Fast Play is not just about selling tickets, it’s a great opportunity for an Arizona resident to lend support to a great association.
