Arizona Fall Fun and Pumpkin Patches

The triple digits have thankfully disappeared in the Valley of the Sun and that means Fall is here!. It’s the time of year that all Phoeicians look forward to, packing up the family and getting outside to enjoy the great Arizona Fall weather. Below is a list of all Arizona Pumpkin Patches and fun Fall activities to enjoy this October.
 

Anthem Community Park Autumnfest

Admission is FREE
Anthem residents and visitors from far and wide come together to celebrate all things fall at Anthem Community Council’s Autumnfest. This family-friendly event celebrates the season with fall-flavored festivities including arts & crafts vendors, carnival rides, pumpkin picking and live entertainment. Event features: pumpkin patch, entertainment, kid’s zone, scaregrow garden and an arts & crafts fair.

Walk through the Arboretum fall gardens on trails lit by glowing Jack-o-Lanterns. Celebrate the fall season in your best costume with hayrides, hot cider and cocoa, apple bobbing, great food from Good Times Rolling Kitchen, spooky stories and performances by a campfire. Win prizes for pumpkin entries.

 

The Grand Canyon Railway

If you are looking for a weekend escape The Grand Canyon Railway Pumpkin Patch Train is the perfect option. This is the same company that operates The Polar Express Train Ride out of Williams, AZ – just outside of Flagstaff.  The train provides you the perfect excuse to get out of town. With the gorgeous weather, pine trees, the kids wearing their Halloween costumes on the train ride, and the admission including a pumpkin, you can’t go wrong. The train depot also offers a Haunted Train Car, hay bale maze, pumpkin arts and crafts, and fall themed food and drinks for purchase.

Harvest Fest is a family friendly experience with quality entertainment for all ages. A pumpkin patch, hay rides, gold panning, BB Gun Range, food and live music is only a hint of what you and your family will enjoy at Harvest Fest 2017! Escape the Phoenix heat and head up to historic downtown Prescott for this ONE DAY event. All proceeds to benefit Mile High Middle School. There will be various costume contests: 4 and under, 5-8 years old, 9-12 years old and a family costume contest!  As well as scream contests, pumpkin carving contest, carnival games, crafts and food!

Another family owned farm just on the out skirts of the west valley.  This pumpkin patch also boasts a crop maze, sunflower field, hay wagon ride, an educational barn and a kid friendly activity area.  Enjoy a day of not only playing in a pumpkin patch, but learn all about farming and agriculture! All the activities are included in admission, pumpkins and concession sold separately.

 

Schnepf Farms
