Amazon Expands Grocery Delivery Service To Arizona Cities

Two of Arizona’s cities will now have another company to choose from when considering grocery delivery: Amazon.

On Wednesday, Amazon announced that it will launch grocery deliver through Whole Foods Market in Phoenix and Tucson. There are eight other cities across the country that it will also expand its services in, as well as New York City, Los Angeles, and Dallas.

Christina Minardi, Whole Food’s Market’s Vice President of operations said that the Prime Delivery service continues to be popular with consumers and they’re excited to expand into 10 new cities. She notes that it’s yet another way to make it easier for customers to enjoy Whole Foods healthy and organic options.

With this new change, residents in Phoenix and Tucson who have Amazon Prime will be able to get produce, bakery, dairy, meat, and seafood items delivered to their door from Whole Foods. However, alcoholic beverages will not be part of the new added expansion.

Delivery for this service will be available from 8am to 10pm every day. Amazon is one of the many companies who are taking advantage of the growing trend of grocery delivery in Arizona. In addition to Amazon, Bashas’ , Sprouts, and even Target have offered a similar service to residents.
