2018 is just around the corner and if you are planning to ring in the new year in the Valley of the Sun, there are plenty of ways to celebrate. Check out some of these events if you’re looking for a fun way to ring in the new year.


Phoenix Symphony New Year’s Eve Concert
Phoenix Symphony will perform the famous Strauss waltzes, seasonal classics, and Broadway and contemporary favorites all with a complimentary glass of Champagne to celebrate the New Year. Performances of “A New Year’s Celebration” take place at the Symphony Hall Downtown Phoenix

Confetti Ball at Hotel Valley Ho
An upscale Gala that features a four-hour reception, hors-d’oeuvres, midnight Champagne toast, party hats and favors, and a confetti drop at the Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale. Table reservations that include two premium bottles, reserved seating, and a cocktail server are available for a premium price with advanced booking.

Raven’s All That Glitters New Year’s Eve Gala
The Talking Stick Resort Showroom in Scottsdale offers two full bars, cocktail specials, a buffet, and entertainment by DJ Kilo and the in-house band SMASHED, which will perform both classic and current favorites. The event features party favors, complimentary Champagne toast, and balloon drop at midnight. Semi-formal to black tie attire required, and attendees must be 21 and over.

Noon Year’s Eve at Phoenix Zoo
From 9 a.m. to noon on December 31, the Phoenix Zoo presents the “coolest” way to celebrate the New Year: “Noon Year’s Eve.” Festivities include tons of snow, dancing, music, games, and prizes, all of which are included with regular Zoo admission.

Fiesta Bowl Parade
The valley’s annual staple event is sure a crowd pleaser. Bring chairs, the kids, some snacks and your camera for the spectacular parade that features bands, floats and more.

The Rawhide Event Center in Chandler will host hosts their annual New Year’s Eve bash called “Decadence Arizona” on December 30 and 31. The two-day festival that encourages guests to embrace self-indulgence and extravagant excess as they lower their inhibitions to live lavishly and let loose in luxurious fashion. A variety of musical performers in the electronic music scene perform on several stages around the event.

New Year’s Eve Celebration at The Saguaro
Ring in the New Year with LIVE 101.5 in a multi-room bash at the Saguaro in Scottsdale. New Year’s Eve Show at the Nash
From 7:30 to 10 p.m. on New Year’s Eve 2017, get your jazz fix with two of the best-known jazz couples in the Valley: Judy Roberts & Greg Fishman and Delphine Cortez & Joel Robin. The W Hotel in Scottsdale hosts a spectacular event at their “Goldmember New Year’s Eve” party, where the hotel transforms its WET Deck and Living Room Lounge into a night of golden celebration including a rooftop fireworks show at midnight.

New Year’s Eve Party at Padre Murphy’s
The party starts at 8:30 p.m. featuring live music from Black Horse Band as well as Chef Steve’s New Year’s Eve Special Surf and Turf Dinner, party favors and festive hats, and a champagne toast at midnight.
